Very quiet all night. Cool morning.

Once the sun rose over the hill, our fly and ground sheet dried up. We left the campsite about 9:15. We cycled on the road about 20 km, rolling hills. Pretty views at the top of every hill. Then we arrived at the River Meuse again and we were on a bike path beside the water which was lovely. We stopped for lunch in Pagny-sur-Meuse.

Before we arrived at our destination we had to do a little more road riding and some dirt paths. We went through the city of Toul which looked like it had some historic landmarks. At this point, we have arrived at the Moselle River and our route takes us along this river for the next couple of days. We arrived at our campsite in Villey-le-Sec about 4:30. It was a long day. We set up camp on the river's edge. The water is very calm. We had a nice dinner in the campsite restaurant.
