It was a beautiful sunrise over the Rhine River this morning. It was an overcast morning but a nice comfortable temperature.

We had breakfast in a little kitchenette for the campers, a nice cozy spot.

We left the Rhine River today and headed towards The Netherlands border. We followed the node system that we had used weeks ago in the Netherlands and Belgium. We went through several small towns as well as countryside riding. The agriculture in this area is very rich looking, full of various crops as well as forested areas.

We arrived very close to our campground when we had to take a detour. The detour took us on some grassy paths and up over a small wooded hill, then crossed the highway on an old pedestrian walkway and down the other side to the campground. It was good for a laugh after we did it!

It was threatening rain so we quickly set up camp, got groceries and had our dinner.

Thankfully it didn't rain.
