Another sunny day but not too hot with temperature around 24 C.

Today, we visited Baarle-Nassau (The Netherlands) and Baarle-Hertog (Belgium). The people in these two towns, and two countries, work together on all aspects of municipal life. There is constant cross-border consultation and management but yet they manage with separate city councils and taxes. 

We did a self guided tour and took a few pictures. Interesting little place!

Much of our ride today was through the Belgian forests so it was nice and shady for most of it. We stopped for lunch at a picnic table in the woods. 

We arrived at our host's place about 5 pm. We set up camp in his backyard while he made pizza for us. We had a nice dinner over some wine and great conversation.
