As we were playing a s few rounds of the card game, 99's, a few young ladies pulled in beside us late last night and set up their site. We chatted with them for awhile and then, turned in.

We got away by 9:30 this morning. Another lovely day of sunshine and nice temperature.

We rode along the countryside before reaching the Rhine River. The bike paths are mostly paved and smooth. We went downhill most of the way, along several dykes, with a tailwind. Smooth and easy riding!

We stopped in Maximilliansau for lunch.

For the last few kilometres we veered off the route to get to our campsite. This was probably the most strenuous part of the day's ride as we had to climb a couple of hills along the way. We made it after 65 km to our campsite and settled in for the night.
