Today we followed the Eurovelo 4 route. This was the first time we have been challenged by hills. The route took us up and down hills and valleys, into quaint little villages and passed beautiful fields of wheat and other crops. We pushed the bikes up a couple of hills as they were 12 and 13% grade. Sea views from the tops of every hill were amazing!

We met the sea edge at Ambleteuse, a bustling sea side community and ended our day in Wimereux. Although we only did 45 km, it did take us about 6 hours to do.
