We took the train to downtown Amsterdam, about 20 minutes to get to Central Station. We walked over to the meeting spot where our walking tour guide was to meet us at 2 pm. Our tour guide, Robert, was very good. He gave us an overview of the history of Amsterdam, some architectural explanations and some funny anecdotes. Interesting city with some beautiful canal scenes and viewpoints.

The tour lasted 2.5 hours so we were ready to sit for awhile when it ended. We found a small restaurant in the old town as we walked back towards the train station and had some authentic Dutch food, for the last time.

We were back at the hotel by 7:30pm and prepared for our departure tomorrow morning.
