We left our lovely B&B by mid morning, for the start of our biking tour. Like any other city, it is always a bit challenging to get out of the city, as we had to stop and check the map periodically to make sure we were going in the right direction. We were out of the city fairly quickly and found our way into the bike paths of the forest "Pineta di Classe". 

After about 25 km, we found our campground in the heart of Lido di Savio, a beach town with lots of tourists. After setting up our site and getting to know where things are, we headed to the beach The white sandy beach is lined as far as the eye can see with beach chairs and umbrellas and the water to a turquoise blue. Beautiful! We found a grocery store and headed back to cook dinner after taking a quick dip in the campground pool.
