We started our day trying to find where to catch our boat to go on a tour of the Gargano National Park coast line. We followed google maps but we ended up not seeing the place and walked right by it. There were no signs. After about 20 minutes of walking around, a phone to the organizer and some help from some locals who quasi understood English, the organizer told us to stay where we were and someone would come to pick us up. Within a couple of minutes, a motorcycle pulled up and waved us to hop on. So away we went, the 3 of us, on a small motor cycle and within 2 3 minutes we were where we were supposed to be. We had a good laugh!!

The rest of the day was amazing! The scenery along the coast was spectacular with lots of cliffs, hills and caves. A few times, the captain actually maneuvered the boat into what seemed like incredibly small openings which, once inside, opened up into large spaces. The rock formations were so beautiful!

We were dropped off at Vignanotica Beach where we spent 3 hours in the shade of our own private cave and swimming in the sea. Once we were picked up we continued our trip back to Manfredonia but on the way, the captain anchored the boat in a little alcove so anyone that wanted to could go swimming off the back of the boat. They also served us prosecco to toast the wonderful day we had.

Once we returned to Manfredonia, we went back to our B&B to clean up and grab some supper. Back on the bikes tomorrow!!
