We decided to have a shorter day's ride today given that we pushed it yesterday. So, a later start at about 10:30.

We seem to have the most directional trouble either entering or leaving the larger centres. Signage is not always clear. Mulhouse was no different. A very kind man "escorted" us out of the city when he saw that it might be challenging for us. Once out of Mulhouse, the route took us once again along the canal. This time the canal is much larger with alot of open space on either side. We continue to really enjoy the flat paved easy going riding!

We continued until Huningue, the last town in France, before entering Germany and meeting the Rhine river. Tourist office maps provided us with some direction and information. It was pointed out to us that today was a Swiss holiday and, as a result, the German town of Weil am Rhein would be busy with shoppers. Once we crossed the pedestrian bridge, the "Passerelle des Trois Pays", which joins the 3 countries, we were confronted with people, bikes and cars everywhere. We really needed to find a telecom company to get our internet/phone issues sorted out. We found a Vodafone and left with satisfaction for the time being.

We looked for a place to stay but accomodations seemed full, so we went back over the bridge to the campground in Huningue for the night.
