As we were preparing to leave our campsite and we had the bikes loaded up, John noticed that his tire was flat. He pumped it up and all was good.  We checked out of our campsite and headed south with the destination of a campsite just past Ricionne. About one hour into our ride, John noticed that his tire was flat again. We conveniently happened to be in a lovely wooded area with picnic tables and benches, so we stopped and John changed his tire. He thinks it is a valve problem as opposed to a tube problem.

As we continued south, we cycled through one beach town after another, restaurant and after restaurant, and hotel after hotel. The hotels are not much bigger than 5-6 stories and look like they were built in the 70's.

The infrastructure for bicycles is amazing with designated bike paths most of the way. Even if we had to go on the road, the drivers were very respectful as were the pedestrians and other cyclists. We arrived at our destination, "Camping Riccione", at about 1630. We found the onsite market and picked up groceries for supper. The local wine is excellent and, so far, we haven't paid much more than 5 euros for a bottle.
